Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations of tug and barge activities, particularly for long ocean towage voyages.
- Liaise with vessel masters and crew regarding operational matters and voyage updates.
- Arrange and coordinate voyage logistics, including port calls, agents, bunker requirements, and operational documentation.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, agents, and service providers to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Monitor vessel schedules and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Support general operational administration and documentation.
- Handle operational matters that may arise outside office hours when required due to vessel movements.
Requirements
- Prior experience in shipping, maritime operations, or vessel coordination is preferred.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and respond to urgent operational matters when required.
