- Manage and supervise daily tugboat operations, including towing, berthing, and harbor assistance.
- Plan and coordinate tug schedules, crew assignments, and vessel deployment.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations, port authority rules, and company policies.
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel usage, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with port authorities, pilots, shipping agents, and terminal operators.
- Investigate operational incidents and implement safety improvements.
- Prepare operational reports and ensure proper documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation, Marine Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in tugboat operations, harbor towage, or marine fleet operations.
- Previous experience as Master Mariner, Chief Mate, or Marine Operations Supervisoris preferred.
- Strong knowledge of port operations, maritime regulations, and safety management systems.
- Good leadership, planning, and communication skills.
