Responsibilities
- Inspecting ships to ensure they meet classification society rules
- Conducting statutory ship surveys on behalf of the flag state
- Preparing reports on surveys and recommending actions
- Surveying the condition of a ship’s machinery
- Analyzing risk management data
- Proposing workflow improvements
Requirements
- Holding COC1 (Deck or Engine) with 3 years of seagoing experience as Captain or Chief Engineer. Preferred offshore experience with DP2.
- Bachelor’s Degree in marine engineering or naval architecture or related field.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
