Job Description

  • Independent handling, investigation and processing of marine insurance claims from first notice to final settlement.
  • Liaison with claimants, appointment of surveyors, provide settlement advice to insurers.
  • Ensuring all claims are processed in a timely manner.
  • Keep insurers fully updated on developments of the claim and settlement negotiations.
  • Mentoring and supervision of juniors/assistants.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business or equivalent is preferred
  • Min. 2 years with relevant experience in the marine industry
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Keen eye for detail
