Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Manage resources, provide technical guidance and direction to ensure completion and quality of deliverables within schedule and costs
- Lead the development of engineering deliverables for Mooring and Hydrodynamics Systems in Technology to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose, robust and cost-effective design and operations for FPSO and FSO vessels
- Lead the development of Mooring and Hydrodynamics design and operation philosophy, basis of design, functional specification and SOW for RFQ of mooring engineering sub-contracting services
- Lead the execution of all engineering deliverables as per project planning and schedule
Requirements
- At least Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Marine or other related disciplines)
- At least 12 years of relevant work experience in engineering design of mooring and hydrodynamics systems for floating offshore facilities
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in design and engineering of FPSOs, FSOs, FLNGs and CALM Buoy etc.)
- Experience and competent in the use of relevant analysis software (e.g. Orcaflex, Hydrostar, Ariane7 and AQWA)
- Professional Engineer with practicing certificate/Registered with relevant professional body preferred
