Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth and expand market reach
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders across various industries
  • Conduct client meetings, sales presentations, and negotiations to promote the company’s services and solutions
  • Manage the full sales process including prospecting, lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute towards overall business development objectives
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, customer records, and business updates
  • Handle multiple sales opportunities effectively while meeting deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Strong experience in new business acquisition with a proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different industries and seniority levels
  • Confident in conducting negotiations and business discussions with senior management and decision-makers
  • Experience in subscription-based or solution-selling environments would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with the shipping, maritime, or energy sectors will be an added advantage
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and highly driven to achieve business objectives
  • Able to multitask, manage priorities effectively, and work well under pressure
