Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage vessel operations from post-fixture onwards, ensuring compliance with charter party agreements
- Support pre-fixture activities in coordination with relevant counterparts
- Plan voyages, including optimizing cargo arrangements and calculating bunker requirements
- Monitor vessel performance daily, both at sea and in port, to minimize delays, claims, and disputes
- Liaise with vessel owners, masters, charterers, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide voyage instructions
- Coordinate with port agents regarding disbursements, cargo readiness, and vessel scheduling
- Arrange additional insurance coverage when required (e.g., war risk, Loss of Hire, Kidnap & Ransom, etc.)
- Prepare hire invoices, freight statements, laytime calculations, and ensure timely collection of freight, charter hire, demurrage, and outstanding payments
- Maintain consistent communication with Masters to ensure correct cargo stowage and safe, compliant operations in line with industry and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Open to students or recent graduates from any academic background
- No prior experience needed – structured training will be provided
- Strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment

- Able to perform well independently as well as within a team
