Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for handling design projects and develop naval architecture & hull design
  • Work closely with vessel owners, classification societies and 3rd party designers on design specification and technical solutions
  • Spearhead the deliverables for conceptual and basic designs
  • Perform naval architectural calculations including speed performance prediction, stability & hydrostatic, scantling assessments, weight distribution, launching calculations and etc.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in the marine & offshore industry
  • Subject matter expert in structural and naval architectural design for marine vessels
  • Familiar with AutoCAD, GHS, FEMAP and NAPA
  • Good communication and analytical skills
