Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct Hull & Machinery surveys, including condition surveys, damage assessments, and pre/post-repair inspections

Attend marine casualties and incidents, providing technical investigation, root cause analysis, and reporting
-
Inspect vessel structures, main and auxiliary machinery, propulsion systems, and onboard equipment
-
Liaise with shipowners, managers, shipyards, insurers, and repair contractors during surveys and repairs
-
Prepare clear, concise, and technically sound survey reports within stipulated timelines
-
Monitor and verify repair works to ensure compliance with class, statutory, and industry standards
-
Support loss prevention initiatives and provide technical advisory services where required
-
Travel regionally and attend vessels at short notice when necessary
