Head of HSEQ Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations, focusing on ISM Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, flag state, port state, and industry-specific requirements.
- Oversee the development of the Company’s HSEQ systems and report status updates to GM.
- Track operational statistics and ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) training for both onboard and office personnel.
- Ensure vessels fully comply with flag state and company HSEQ requirements.
- Serve on the Emergency Response Team as outlined in the Office Contingency Manual.
- Conduct incident investigations and participate in tender processes and HR-related issues when needed.
- Coordinate with Company Security Officer on Ship Security Assessments and Plans.
- Supervise marine assurance for gas vessels, including SIRE, TMSA, and Rightship processes.
- Continuously improve operations manuals for vessels under management.
Marine Assurance Responsibilities:
- Arrange and follow up on vetting inspections for LNG/LPG vessels, ensuring compliance with charterers, terminals, and owners.
- Maintain databases of vetting deficiencies for internal and external benchmarking.
- Carry out pre-vetting inspections, train staff, and provide support during inspections and operations.
- Continuously improve operational manuals for Tankers and Gas Carriers.
Qualifications:
- Maritime qualifications with seagoing experience.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards.
- Strong HSEQ experience.
- Fluent in English, with good interpersonal skills.
- Certified in risk assessment, incident investigation, ISM/ISO auditing, and DPA course.
