Head of Fuel Efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage bunker operations for the entire fleet (bulk, tanker, container), including the monitoring of fuel consumption and cost efficiency.
Develop, implement, and oversee fuel efficiency programs to optimize fleet performance and reduce overall fuel costs.
Conduct detailed fuel consumption analysis and provide actionable insights to enhance fleet performance.
Collaborate with senior management to set strategic goals for fuel efficiency and fleet performance.
Supervise and manage the team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high performance standards.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards related to fuel usage and emissions.
Adapt and transition knowledge from specialized vessel environments to cargo/container/tanker vessel operations.
Provide regular reporting and recommendations on fuel efficiency improvements and cost-saving strategies.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on bunkering and fuel efficiency.
Strong office and managerial experience, with a proven track record of leadership in an office environment.
Hands-on experience in developing and executing fuel efficiency programs.
Previous experience working with cargo, container, and tanker vessels is mandatory.

Skills:

Extensive knowledge of bunkering operations and processes.
Proficiency in fuel consumption analysis and the ability to drive actionable insights.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and motivating teams.
In-depth understanding of maritime operations and fuel efficiency optimization techniques.
