Job Description

Business Development Strategy

  • Strategize and formulate long term business development and marketing plans to identify new and/or target market and business opportunities or propose business solutions to ensure the sustainable growth and development of Liquified Natural Gas Business
  • Integrate and align business activities with overseas office

Business Development and Marketing

  • Lead and drive the execution of Liquified Natural Gas Business key business development strategies and marketing plans to secure new businesses and/or expand market share to ensure sustainable growth and development of Liquified Natural Gas Business
  • Develop commercial strategy and approach for deal origination, business proposals and bid submission that meets the client’s requirements highlighting Company’s value proposition
  • Enhance visibility and footprint of Company’s Liquified Natural Gas Business in specific region with key Liquified Natural Gas players/customers/projects. Business Evaluation
  • Lead the evaluation and negotiation with charterers, strategic partners, and technical consultants in relation to new building term charters, agreements or investment opportunities to determine the economic viability as well as operational and technical compatibility with Liquified Natural Gas Business and Company’s long-term strategies and plans. Customer Relationship Management
  • Strategize and drive the customer relationship management activities to ensure existing customers are retained and new customers are continuously secured for sustainable business growth. People Development
  • Provide specific guidance and motivation to drive the development of a ready pool of capable and competent Business Development professionals with strong focus on customers, operational excellence and innovation to underpin Liquified Natural Gas Business sustainable growth and high-performance culture.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics/Marketing/Engineering
  • Masters’ Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or any related professional qualification is an added advantage
  • Minimum 18 years of working experience with at least 5 years of experience in managerial or equivalent position in Liquified Natural Gas or maritime logistics industry, preferably with business development and marketing exposure
  • Preferably well known in the Liquified Natural Gas or shipping industry in the Middle East, Europe and Americas region
