Job Description

Role:

  • Regularly engage with equity terminals to assess operational and financial performance, aiming to enhance profitability through improved productivity and efficiency.
  • Support the establishment and monitoring of terminals’ KPIs and provide insights on performance gaps.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on terminal performance, associated projects, and ongoing discussions.
  • Review annual budgets for terminals, including capital expenditure plans, and assist in securing Management approvals.
  • Assess current terminal processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure effective management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Maritime Studies, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in container terminal management preferred.
  • Candidates with additional experience may be considered for a higher-level position.
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
  • Candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in shipping or marine terminal operations is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of contract structures.
