Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall marine operations, ensuring smooth execution across all vessels/projects
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, cost control, and service delivery
- Oversee daily operations, including vessel performance, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and industry standards
- Manage and mentor operations teams, driving performance and accountability
- Liaise with clients, charterers, and key stakeholders to ensure service excellence and strong relationships
- Monitor budgets, P&L, and cost performance, identifying areas for optimization
- Handle escalation of operational issues and provide strategic solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, Logistics, or related field
- 10–15 years of maritime experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong background in vessel operations / fleet management
- Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management
- Solid understanding of commercial operations, contracts, and cost control
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, decision-driven environment
