Job Description

Apply advanced data analytics tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret operational data from our fleet of vessels.
Devise and execute optimization strategies aimed at boosting vessel performance, curbing fuel consumption, and enhancing overall fleet efficiency.
Perpetually oversee vessel performance and recommend corrective measures to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Spot opportunities for cost savings across fleet operations, encompassing maintenance, fuel consumption, and crewing expenses.
Evaluate and address operational risks linked to vessel performance, safety, and adherence to industry regulations.
Generate regular reports and performance dashboards for senior management, providing insights and recommendations to facilitate decision-making.
Collaborate with suppliers and service providers to negotiate favorable terms, trim costs, and elevate service quality.
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements in all fleet operations.
Contribute to the long-term planning of the fleet by offering data-driven insights and recommendations for vessel acquisitions, retirements, and upgrades.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including vessel operations, maintenance, and finance, to align optimization efforts with broader business objectives.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in maritime studies, engineering, business, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet optimization, maritime operations, or a related field.
– Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and data-driven insights.
– In-depth knowledge of the maritime industry, covering regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
