Oversee the design, deployment, and upkeep of IT infrastructure on vessels and at onshore locations, including networks, hardware, software, servers, and communication systems.
Manage communication systems such as satellite and radio communications, along with other data transmission systems, to ensure seamless real-time communication between vessels, shore offices, and other stakeholders.
Implement strong cybersecurity protocols to safeguard vessels and ensure compliance with industry data protection regulations and standards.
Collaborate closely with the Fleet division on vessel-related projects.
Lead and mentor the Fleet IT team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a Diploma with at least 8 years of experience in various database technologies, operating systems, and managing database teams.
Strong technical expertise in both IT and OT equipment on vessels.
