Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To receive all the reports from the ship and distribute to relevant persons in a timely manner.
- To arrange for the procurement function to prepare and distribute purchase orders for services and surveys, where appropriate.
- To liaise and arrange travel, visas etc. for identified suppliers/service providers, Class and agents for their attendance at the appropriate ports.
- To distribute files, invoices etc to respective Offices as per Fleet Cell needs.
- Under instructions and guidance from the Fleet Manager and/or Fleet Superintendent prepare reports, letters and other documents.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Fleet Managers/Superintendents’ vessel visits.
- To dispatch Fleet Managers’ Reports
- Processing disbursement accounts, and and when required by business
- Entering of commitments for Port Disbursements, travel and other incidentals
- General filing and administrative tasks. To maintain the Owners contract files and insurance status of the vessels.
- To ensure vessel details are filled into Shipsure as required and instructed by Fleet Manager.
- To download and distribute the Class status reports to the vessels and Superintendents.
- Any other jobs as required by the Fleet Managers.
Requirements::
- Min ITE/diploma in maritime studies, human resources, or related field
- Have a keen interest in working in offshore/marine industry
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Able to OT when required
- Be proficient in MS Office; and
- Be able to work under stress.
