Job Description
One of the region’s most reputable shipbuilder is currently hiring for a Finance Manager, Operations to be wholly responsible for the financial aspects of the yard’s operational activities.
- Responsible for the accuracy of costing function and delta costs and cleared and analyze in timely manner
- Carry out credit analysis on potential and existing Clients
- Identify potential financial risks within the operational functions and recommend/implement mitigation applications
- Ensure there is sufficient financial liquidity and cashflow for operational needs, and proper management of financial and interests risks
- Improvise and optimize financial processes, especially on AP/AR functions
- Work closely with internal financial functions (e.g. FP&A and GL) to provide accurate financial reporting
- Initiate inter-department partnerships to develop financial strategies that meet the business objectives
- Build close working relationships with external auditors, tax agents and banks
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting/finance or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in accounting/finance with at least 3 years in Managerial capacity
- Candidates with experience and knowledge in data-analytics/AI application within the financial operations function will have added advantage
- Experience in leading a team with no less than 5 employees
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
- Willing to work at the west
