Job Description
Responsibilities:

Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with statutory reporting standards and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).

Compile account schedules and coordinate with auditors and tax agents for submissions.
-
Manage the full accounting cycle, including AR/AP and related processes.

Handle bank postings, reconciliations, GL entries, payments, and financial schedules.
-
Administer GST filings and claims.
-
Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital.
-
Assess foreign exchange exposure and execute hedging strategies when required.

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
-
Track actual results against budgets and prepare variance analyses.

Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
-
Implement and maintain effective internal controls.

Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate internal/external audits and regulatory reviews.
-
Set KPIs for the finance team and ensure timely delivery of outputs.

Lead, coach, and develop finance staff, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and results orientation.

Collaborate with other departments to review workflows, strengthen controls, and identify cost efficiencies.

Support ad-hoc finance duties and special projects.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA/ACCA preferred.
-
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, ideally in the marine industry.

Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax laws.

Proficient in ERP accounting systems; SAP experience advantageous.
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
