Job Description
Assist the Finance and Regulatory Manager in overseeing the Finance Department for the Singapore and Hong Kong Branches.
Role:
- Record accounting entries in the electronic accounting system for both Singapore and Hong Kong Branches.
- Prepare cheques for signature and handle cheque payments.
- Scan and maintain electronic records of invoices and documentation for the Singapore and Hong Kong Branches.
- Organize and file hardcopy invoices and documents.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to the finance department.
- Consolidate invoices and supporting documents, ensuring proper approvals are obtained from managers.
- Manage and record petty cash and travel cash forms.
- Support the preparation of GST returns for the Singapore Branch.
- Ensure timely processing of invoice payments and credit card expenses (non-overseas travel) for both branches.
- Collaborate with the Central Finance Team to enhance internal finance processes.
- Provide assistance to the Central Finance Team when required.
- Issue debit notes and invoices to intercompany parties or external entities.
- Reconcile intercompany balances at the end of each quarter.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in management accounting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial deadlines and submission requirements.
- Knowledge of departmental processes, procedures, and routines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
