Job Description

Direct Search Global is partnering one of the World’s leading manufacturer for power transmission solutions to recruit a Finance Controller (ASEAN Operations) in Thailand.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for developing, implement and monitor financial planning strategies, budgets and forecasts to support business objectives and drive growth initiatives
  2. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Thai accounting standards and regulatory requirement
  3. Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluations and resource allocation
  4. Perform projection of financial and business feasibility study including financial projection, investment analysis, business analysis and risk assessment
  5. Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with financial regulations and mitigate risks
  6. Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, including corporate income tax, value-add tax (VAT) withholding tax and other relevant tax matters
  7. Continuously review and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness in financial operations
  8. Lead and develop high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship and training to ensure professional growth and achievement of departmental goals
  9. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties to promote transparency and accountability in financial matters

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor in Accounting, finance or other related fields. Master degree or other professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred
  2. Proven experience with at least 10 years in financial management roles, preferably within multinational corporations or large organizations
  3. In-depth knowledge of Thai accounting standards, taxation law and regulatory requirements
  4. Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and formulate actionable insights
  5. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization
  6. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle/SAP)
  7. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Thai language
