Job Description
Role:
- Manage the recruitment and retention of seafarers while overseeing all manning offices and agencies.
- Provide strong leadership and maintain close oversight of manning operations in Myanmar.
- Ensure budgets for each vessel and owner are accurately prepared and maintained.
- Develop strategies to address evolving manning requirements based on trade demands.
- Oversee the administration of the officer and crew appointment system.
- Create and implement personnel policies and employment conditions aimed at attracting, motivating, training, and retaining top-quality seafarers to meet company objectives.
- Regularly monitor and assess the performance of manning agents.
- Grow third-party crew management services and onboard new clients.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in crewing or a related marine shore-based role.
- Diploma or higher educational qualification.
- Strong written and spoken communication proficiency.
- Basic computer literacy.
