Job Description
Role:
(1) Vessel and Crew Certification Management
- Oversee the timely submission, renewal, and cancellation of vessel and crew-related certificates
- Coordinate inspections and compile required documents for harbour craft license renewals
- Work closely with Fleet Operations to manage the renewal of crew certificates
- Maintain up-to-date records of vessel and crew certifications in line with MPA and ISM standards
- Ensure all vessel and crew documentation remains valid and compliant
- Support paperwork requirements for vessel sales and overseas chartering
- Manage immigration procedures and logistics for crew sign-on/off and vessel port calls
- Arrange crew travel, lodging, and transportation, and handle related invoice processing
- Draft and translate memos and operational instructions into Bahasa Indonesia/Malay using translation tools
- Provide basic IT support and troubleshooting for foreign crew members.
(2) Internal Communications and Engagement
- Assist in creating internal communication materials, publicity content, and project showcases across various media platforms
- Coordinate internal staff activities, engagement programmes, and team-building events
- Help develop training resources for seafarers
- Contribute to the digital transformation of crewing, asset management, and statistical tracking processes
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
- At least 3 years of experience in crew management within the maritime industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
