Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with vessel related statutory, regulatory, Union and Client’s requirements.
2. Responsible for compliance with operational responsibilities in Crew Management Software.
3. Ensure a complete understanding of crewing and company KPI’s and compliance.
4. Responsible for timely planning of seafarers and compliance in CMS
5. Communication with seafarers and their families.
6. Ensure error free pre-joining documents handed over to seafarer and briefing completed.
7. Responsible for on time relief, timely placement of crew onboard.
8. Report performance issues of support team members to Line Manager.
9. Report performance issue and on-board conflicts to Line Manager.
10. To update OCIMF-SIRE using CMS/ Q88 software.
11. Responsible for maintaining Minimum Safe Manning Certificate (MSMC)/ P&I club certificate for vessels in respective fleet.
12. Responsible for arrangement of Crew related dispensation as required from flag state and ensuring closure within stipulate time.
13. Responsible for closure of audit findings in PSC/MLC related to crew documentation/ certification/ training.
14. Plan and control expenses as per OPEX.
15. Responsible for timely processing of crew claims in CMS.
16. Support Manager in maintain crew budget.
17. Utilizing knowledge of ship, owner and trade specific requirements to improve crew planning, selection, retention.
18. Align crew skills and specific vessel needs while placement of seafarers.
19. Escalate concerns to Crewing Manager
20. Liaise through efficient and close loop communication with all stakeholders
21. Maintain good professional relationship with colleagues in all business functions, service providers and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Experience using Crew Management Software – COMPAS is preferred
2. Degree/Diploma in Maritime Management or equivalent
3. Having 1- 3 years of experience in a similar position or as a Fleet Personnel or as a manning service provider
4. Computer literate with particular emphasis on MS Office and email applications
5. Good interpersonal skills and well-organized
6. Accountable, adaptable, attentive to detail, and good problem-solving skills
