Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Expand and maintain the customer base by guiding field sales representatives, fostering relationships with key customers, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Achieving regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, creating annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and taking corrective actions.
  • Execute trade promotions by overseeing publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
  • Explore opportunities to grow business in new markets and stay updated on industry trends and technical advancements within target markets.
  • Recommend product lines by identifying new opportunities, assessing product, packaging, and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, and monitoring competitors.
  • Conduct regular sales calls to pursue opportunities, provide training and technical support, and increase market share.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives and personal efforts.
  • Continuously update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain short-, mid, and long-term sales plans and communicate high-value sales activities for effective product and service planning.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all clients and prospects.
  • Review, prepare, and complete action plans, implement standards, resolve issues, conduct audits, identify trends, and implement regional sales system improvements.
  • Establish sales objectives by creating sales and territory-wise plans, as well as distributor-wise sales plans. Provide input and recommendations for strategic plans and policies.
  • Prepare visit reports, call reports, monthly reports, and fulfill other administrative requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of work experience with a minimum of 8 years in progressive sales roles and 8-10 years in leadership positions or equivalent industry knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field. Additional qualifications in sales or business administration are advantageous.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
  • Thorough understanding of rubber products and the industry, particularly in the Thailand market.
  • Familiarity with MRO business and experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Experience in driving sales for automotive aftermarket products is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple resources and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
