Job Description

Our client are hiring a Corporate Communications Executive to help position the Association as a respected and influential voice within the maritime sector by developing engaging and impactful content for our members and stakeholders. This role reports to the Head of Communications & Membership and requires strong editorial and writing skills, an eye for storytelling, and the ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholder levels.

What You Will Do:

· Newsletter Production:
Lead the end-to-end development of the monthly members’ newsletter — from shaping editorial direction and writing content to managing design, layout, and coordination with internal teams and vendors (if needed). You’ll also be responsible for tracking campaign metrics and advertisement placements.

· Visual and Brand Consistency:
Support the maintenance of the organisation’s photo and video archive, and uphold consistent branding in all written and visual outputs.

· Marketing Materials:
Create event-related and corporate communication materials, including presentation decks, banners, brochures, and other visual templates.

· Content Development:
Develop well-crafted, brand-aligned content (both written and visual) for communication platforms such as the website, social media, and key publications like the annual report.

· Media Support:
Assist in media relations by preparing press releases, speaking points, briefing notes, and fact sheets. Contribute to the execution of media outreach plans.

· Speechwriting & Messaging:
Research and draft speeches, presentations, and messaging documents to strengthen the thought leadership presence of council members and senior management.

Who We Are Looking For:

· A motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong storytelling, writing, and design sense.
· Someone eager to develop a solid understanding of our members’ industries to craft content that resonates.
· 1–2 years of experience in corporate communications (in-house preferred).
· Excellent writing and editorial capabilities.
· Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Illustrator.
· Holds a Diploma or Degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
· Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are also encouraged to apply.
