Job Description
Company doing trade volume of crude oil and gas and is now actively looking for a Contracts Administrator(Contract Executive) reporting to Head of Crude Oil.
Requirement
· Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Maritime Laws, or any related field
· Minimum 2- 3 years’ work experience as a Contract Administrator or relevant role
· Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
· Knowledge of Upstream contract (Petroleum contract, PS contract, Service contract etc)
· Experience in accounting for crude oil and LNG trading industry
· Experience in accounting for commodity derivatives
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and software required for trading operations
· Ability to work independently, as well as being a good team player with good communication skills;
· Keen attention to detail and meticulous to spot and eliminate errors
Other
· Business level Japanese language skills is a plus
· Experience working for a Japanese company is a plus
· Experience in SAP is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities
· Prepare sales and purchase contracts of Crudes, Chartering Vessels contract and Letter of Credit etc. Correspond to the legal documents stated from the third-party including sales and purchase contract counter etc.
· Review and update existing contracts of sales and purchase contracts of Crudes, Chartering Vessels contract, Letter of Credit, upstream relating contracts (eg Offtake agreement) and any another relating contracts (if necessary) etc
· Review contract terms with internal and external business partners
· Analyse potential risks involved with specific contract terms
· Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with relating team in HQ (legal department) as needed
· Ensure deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met
· Attend the necessary meeting with buyers, sellers, ICE and ADNOC relating IFAD Murban, Clearing House, Financial Institution (Clearing Member, OTC Broker), terminal operators, joint venture partners, Operation team, Middle office team, LNG team, Finance and Administration Team and relating team in HQ etc
· Work closely with Trading team, Operation team to ensure smooth operations and avoid curtailment of Crudes
· Other ad hoc assignments as necessary
