Job Description
The incumbent will play a critical role in driving the Company’s sales, growth and profitability through commercial strategies, client relationships and project contract negotiations. Position will require close communication and teamwork with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in the marine & offshore sctor
- Maintain strong relationships with vessel owners, brokers, agents and key industry stakeholders
- Responsible for the review, analysis and negotiation of shipbuilding contracts
- Work closely with the various functions including engineering, planning and procurement teams to validate costs and project lead times
- Responsible for the compliance in contractual agreements, payments and claims
- Oversee the accuracy for project tenders, quotations and cost estimates
- Ensure seamless handover from the commercial department to the production team for execution
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Maritime, Engineering or other related field of studies
- At least 8 years of experience in the marine & offshore sector
- Expert in the area of shipbuilding commercial works relating to contracts, cost estimation and project execution
- Strong proven track record in client relationship management and business development
- Well-connected individual in the marine & offshore sector with good reputation
