Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inland diving operations such as underwater hull inspections, cleaning, and propeller polishing for ships and offshore vessels.
- Utilize a brush cart for hull cleaning and use still photography cameras and CCTV during diving operations.
- Maintain all diving equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in serviceable condition at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and safe work procedures.
- Follow SS511: Code of Practice for Diving at Work and comply with WSH and TA safe work procedures.
- Abide by the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
- Practice safe diving techniques and comply with rules, regulations, and safety at various worksites.
- Communicate effectively and take orders from lead divers/supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- Possess an approved or equivalent certification to IMCA standards for Surface Supplied Diving Equipment (SSDE) and comply with SS511:2018 Code of Practice for Diving at Work.
- Hold a valid approved diving medical certification.
- Hold a valid diving/occupational first aid certificate.
