Job Description
Role:
- Demonstrate a strong passion for software product management and driving innovation in software solutions.
- Bring hands-on experience in web-based software development projects.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI.
- Effectively plan and organize tasks to meet tight project deadlines.
- Understand and propose software use cases and workflows, emphasizing optimal user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, UX, and clients to deliver cohesive product outcomes.
- Confidently lead both virtual and in-person product presentations and meetings with internal teams and external clients.
- Support the development of product strategies that align with company goals.
- Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply strong analytical skills to solve problems and develop customer-focused solutions.
- Work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Maritime software industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with UX design tools (e.g., Figma) and software development project tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) is an advantage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or Economics.
- At least 5 years of experience in software product or project management, ideally within the maritime or maritime tech sectors.
- Strong understanding of global maritime and offshore markets, with international work experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including task prioritization, resource planning, and execution.
- Skilled in using BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI or equivalents (e.g., Tableau, Qlik Sense, SAP, Looker, etc.).
- Full professional proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
