Job Description
Tasked with overseeing and expanding the trading operations related to marine spare parts, equipment provision, and industrial goods. The position entails sourcing, pricing strategy, supplier management, and business growth.
Main Duties
- Create and implement trading business strategies.
- Source and provide marine spare parts and equipment.
- Establish and uphold connections with suppliers and key partners.
- Discover new markets and broaden customer reach.
- Oversee pricing, estimates, and business negotiations.
- Manage order handling, logistics, and delivery arrangement.
- Achieve profitability by managing expenses and enhancing margins.
- Track market demand and product trends.
- Guide and assist the trading team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain
- At least 5–8 years of experience in marine trading or procurement.
- Background in maritime spare parts, industrial components, or technical provisions.
- Robust commercial and business growth orientation
- Familiarity with marine spare components and gear
- Outstanding negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Strong comprehension of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Fiscal awareness (margin, pricing, forecasting)
- Familiarity with international suppliers and OEMs
- Experience in the marine or offshore sector
