Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify, develop, and expand business opportunities for the company’s product range across local and international markets through structured business planning.
• Achieve assigned sales objectives while maintaining strong profit margins.
• Develop sales forecasts, monthly and yearly sales strategies, and customised sales proposals for clients.
• Maintain strict compliance with the ISO management system within the department.
• Contribute to company and sales team growth by providing coaching, training, and the transfer of technical and commercial expertise.
• Strengthen organisational and sales team performance through continuous knowledge sharing and skill development initiatives.
• Perform regular sales calls and acquire new customers using targeted approaches to increase market share within the marine, offshore, power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.
• Design and execute strategic sales action plans to meet performance targets and support overall business goals.
• Establish and sustain strong partnerships with OEMs, principals, and suppliers for engines and machinery.
• Track industry trends, market movements, competitor activities, and developments in both emerging and established technologies, including updates to product offerings.
REQUIREDMENTS
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing engine spare parts within the Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Independent, professional, and efficient in managing responsibilities.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Effective sales and marketing abilities.
• Holder of a valid Class 3 driving licence or owns a vehicle.
• Open to overseas travel as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team-oriented individual with a positive attitude, integrity, and excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience within the Marine and/or Offshore / Oil & Gas industries.
