Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist GM to materialise business strategy by carrying out effective planning on the entire business management.
- Identify Plating Industry business and market trends, new development, financial to meet business KPI.
- Utilize data analytics and conduct thorough market analysis, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop and implement effective accounting management in fixed and variable cost, investment and budgeting strategies to support the company’s financial goals.
- Establish mid & long-term business strategy based on financial data and business forecasting including budget preparation and kick-off meeting presentation.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to aid decision-making.
- Manage monthly expenses/marginal profit and business profit results to enhance organizational effectiveness and transform it into actionable insights and result oriented.
- Provide regular updates on business performance against targets, expert advice and guidance to the Plating’s top management team & Japan HQ management.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with the overall business strategy
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
- Having 10 years of experience in a management accounting or budgeting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team.
- At least 5 years of related working experience in Finance/Budget/Forecast Planning/Month end closing/Bad debt reporting.
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities to align financial strategies with business objectives
- Proficient in the use of accounting system, Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, internal and external parties.
