Job Description

  • Generate revenue growth within the Transport & Logistics sector, including Marine Logistics and General Cargo.
  • Prospect, approach, and convert new business opportunities across designated regions and target markets.
  • Build new client relationships while strengthening and expanding existing accounts through customized logistics offerings.
  • Manage customer portfolios by assessing needs and delivering comprehensive solutions across multiple service lines (e.g., sea, air, road, and marine logistics).
  • Enhance account profitability by implementing value-based strategies, promoting cross-selling, and optimizing revenue margins.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Oversee and continuously develop a robust sales pipeline to sustain business development efforts.
  • Support the preparation of RFQs, tenders, and proposals in partnership with internal stakeholders to meet client expectations and timelines.
  • Ensure all client data, sales activities, and forecasts are accurately recorded and maintained within CRM platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, Pricing & Procurement, and Finance teams to deliver consistent service quality and meet customer commitments.

 

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within freight forwarding, shipping, or global logistics.
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, or a related discipline.
  • Solid knowledge of Incoterms, international trade practices, and multimodal transportation solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads and converting them into new business wins.
  • Ability to design tailored solutions and effectively close commercial transactions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and proactive with a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and the ability to interpret sales data to support decision-making and performance improvement.
