Job Description
Sales Strategy and Market Approach:
- Devise and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s customer base.
- Secure and retain targeted client accounts through professional and consultative sales activities.
- Analyze various sectors and market trends, determining their impact and implementing appropriate market approach strategies.
- Achieve growth and profitability targets aligned with annual goals.
- Represent the product’s best interests in internal and external meetings and negotiations.
- Develop account strategies with specific objectives and action items for the Singapore and Malaysia Cluster.
- Grow the project pipeline by prospecting, identifying, and evaluating new opportunities.
- Generate monthly reports on the overall pipeline value versus agreed annual targets.
Operational Excellence and Customer Care:
- Gather market data and competitive intelligence through customer interactions, key opinion leaders, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay current with market trends, technology, and best practices for engaging prospective customers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key target customers across the decision-making matrix.
- Review and understand all RFI/RFQ/RFP requests, collaborating with operational and solutions teams for go-no-go decisions.
- Take an active lead in RFI/RFQ/RFP negotiations, escalating support needs to the Head of Sales and Country Management.
- Work with operational and solutions teams to develop operationally and commercially attractive solutions.
- Understand, present, and explain solutions confidently to close business deals.
- Prepare and handover to the implementation team after finalizing contractual agreements.
- Ensure daily operational processes for customer care in secured accounts meet both customer and business needs.
- Ensure timely updates of customer records for accuracy.
- Resolve issues and complaints from key clients effectively.
