Job Description
Position Summary:
The perfect candidate will foster business expansion, generate revenue, and maintain client loyalty for SeaSafe Marine by overseeing all commercial operations concerning LSA, FFE, and Marine Technical Services, ensuring coherence with technical viability, regulatory adherence, and corporate strategy
Duties:
- Discover and cultivatefresh business prospects by contactingvessel owners, fleet managers, operators, and shipbuildingcompanies.
- Nurture and enhanceconnections with current clients to secure repeat transactions and enduringcollaborations.
- Register SeaSafe Marine with potentialclients and secureaplaceon approved vendor lists to fosterongoinginquiries.
- Meetyearlygoalsfor sales, revenue, and customer retention as outlined by company leadership.
- Serve as the mainbusiness contact for all client inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to finalize quotations provided by the Service team.
- Obtain new Fleet Service Agreements (FSA) and ensureprompt renewal of current
- Draft,assess, and negotiate tenders, business proposals, service agreements, and framework contracts.
- Create and execute sales strategies for LSA, FFE, and technical service work profiles thatalign with company goals.
- Observeindustry trends, rivalactions, and consumerdemands.
- Guide the teams on necessaryadjustments in sales or service strategy informedby market insights.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Manager and Service Manager to gather technical clarifications, outline job scope, and verify commercial viability.
- Verifythat all sales actions,agreements, and customerinteractionsadhereto SeaSafe Marine’s QMS, internal protocols,authorized conditions, and the client’s Technical Scope aswellasClass and Flag Limitations.
- Collaborate with the Finance department regarding payment reminders, overdue accounts, and management of commercial risks.
- Assist internal teams with contract clarifications and escalations from clients.
- Collaborate with Technical Coordinators, Technical Superintendents, and Fleet Managers to finalize current and upcoming service tasks.
- Collaborate with Shipyards and repair centers for forthcoming dry-dock and project-specific service prospects.
- Act on behalf of SeaSafe Marine at exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.
- Keep precise sales pipelines, predictions, and CRM documentation.
- Compile regular sales report addressing – Sales performance / Hit rates / Client feedback / Market conditions and opportunities for Management Review
Credentials:
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in business administration, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable.
- Certification in sales or commercial training is desirable.
- Atleast 8-10 years of experience in marine services, LSA/FFE, ship management, or technical sales.
- Demonstratedexpertise in marine sales and contract discussions.
- Solidunderstanding of SOLAS, LSA Code, and relevantmaritime
- Fundamental technical knowledge of LSA and FFE systems
