Job Description

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Find new clients (ship owners, managers, yards) and grow existing relationships.

Get company onto client’s approved vendor lists.

Meet sales, revenue, and client retention targets.

Commercial Management

Handle all client inquiries as main commercial contact.

Work with service and technical teams to finalize quotes and contracts.

Secure new and renew existing Fleet Service Agreements (FSAs).

Strategy & Market Insight

Create sales plans for LSA, FFE, and technical services.

Track market trends and competitors; adjust strategy as needed.

Internal Coordination

Partner with Technical and Service Managers to define job scope and feasibility.

Follow company quality and safety procedures (including Class and Flag rules).

Coordinate with Finance on payments and risk control.

Work with shipyards, repair facilities, and internal teams on upcoming jobs.

Reporting & Representation

Attend industry events and client meetings.

Maintain sales pipeline and CRM records.

Provide regular sales reports to management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Sales training is a plus.

8–10 years in marine services, LSA/FFE, ship management, or technical sales.

Proven experience in marine sales and contract negotiation.

Solid knowledge of SOLAS, LSA Code, and basic understanding of LSA/FFE systems.
