  • Responsible for gaining new accounts by developing sales, strategies and solution to achieve sales plans based on tech-enabled value-added services that covers all area of logistics, including freight forwarding and warehousing/local distribution
  • Meet and exceed allocated sales targets by engaging with customers through various channels, determining the specific needs of the prospect, promoting the companyโ€™s freight forwarding service and digital platform to develop new business opportunities
  • Handle customerโ€™s enquiries that are related to on-boarding and sales operation processes, as well as managing customer relationship to deliver high level of customer satisfaction
  • Offer shipping solutions and promote digital value proposition to customers based on needs and capabilities
  • Generate new contract logistics revenue by sourcing for targeted customers to differentiate the companyโ€™s solution from other market players
  • Plan and perform live system demos to customers
  • Follow up with customers to convert quote enquiries into actual shipment booking
  • Establish target accounts for key regional opportunities and ensure proper on-boarding
  • Identify sales leads to develop new business opportunities
  • Up-selling and cross-selling existing customers to generate more sales
  • Support customer end-to-end implementation including resolving customer technical problems or enquiries
  • Lead the collaboration among internal departments to ensure each piece of the on-boarding journey is smooth for the customer

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, transportation, logistics and supply chain or related field
  • At least 8 years of selling experience with international freight forwarding and contract logistics
  • Have sales experience in a hunter role
  • Customer acquisition experience is a MUST
  • Successful track-record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • in-dept knowledge of system based operation
