Responsibilities
- Handle arrival and departure of ships.
- Liaise with shipowners/operators.
- Plan and carry out port husbandry activities. (Husbandry: maintenance, repair, and cleaning of vessels)
- Oversee operations and documentation of cargo.
- Implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee planning of resources.
- Service client accounts.
- Expand business of ship agencies.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with maritime operations and port procedures
- Strong understanding of immigration and port regulations
- Proficient in computer and administrative tools
- Able to work independently or in a team, including during non-standard hours
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication abilities
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a positive work attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capable of performing under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively
