Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation and maintenance of all shipping documents, including manifests, bills of lading, and letters of indemnity, adhering to maritime regulations.
- Coordinate with charterers, agents, and internal teams to ensure efficient document processing and vessel turnaround.
- Maintain accurate records within the maritime documentation system.
- Handle post-fixture activities, including invoice processing and follow-up with the team.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Provide general documentation support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar shipping documentation role.
- Knowledge of maritime shipping and documentation is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
