Job Description

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage Airfreight Carriers to ensure high-quality service delivery, cost efficiency, and timely cargo transportation.

• Build and sustain strong partnerships with Airlines and Logistics Providers to negotiate competitive rates and uphold service quality.

• Lead the carrier procurement process, including RFQ preparation and execution, to secure optimal pricing and guaranteed capacity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Innovation and Operations to design cost-effective airfreight solutions that align with business objectives.

• Implement strategic air procurement initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and enhancing Air Product offerings.

• Handle contract management activities, including rate discussions, service level agreements, and performance tracking.

• Serve as the key liaison between the organization and major airline/logistics provider partners.

• Monitor air logistics market developments and provide strategic recommendations to optimize sourcing and procurement decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Airfreight, Airline, or Global Logistics industry.

• Strong knowledge of airfreight pricing, spot rate mechanisms, capacity management, and supply chain operations.

• Proven track record in B2B sales and marketing within the air cargo sector.

• Familiarity with international air cargo regulations, including customs compliance, safety, and environmental standards.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with airlines, carriers, and logistics service providers to secure competitive rates and service commitments.

• Established network with Airlines, Carriers, and/or Co-loaders.

• Skilled in analyzing data, building financial models, and supporting strategic decision-making.

• Experienced in working with digital logistics platforms and aligning technology with business processes.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.

• Resilient and adaptable, able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
