Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Generate and process invoices for clients and vendors.
- Track and manage petty cash transactions.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to accomplish department goals and objectives.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Accounts in shipping industry would be advantageous.
- Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
