About me

My career spans more than 23 plus years’ experience in EPC Procurement, warehousing, Materials, Sub Contracts, and Logistics, about Maritime at Drydocks World (New Building Shipyard, FPSO Conversion & Ship Repair), Oil & Gas at Saipem(Platforms & Decks) and Energy sectors at Air Products UK. From these almost 20 plus years has been in the Middle East (Clients: Saudi Aramco, Foster Wheeler, Exxon Mobil, SBM, Woodside, OTG,).

 

The later part of my career has been in managerial roles which have involved leading a team of Supervisors / Coordinators in carrying out the Materials, warehousing, procurement, and sub-contracting function for multiple projects like Zulf, Marjan, Iraq, WASIT in Saudi Arabia. I have also been part of the management team involved in the laying/implementation of policy and procedures.

 

I have extensive hands-on experience in Materials, procurement, warehousing, sub-contracting, and expediting of materials (capital and non-capital) and services world over about projects in the Maritime, Oil & Gas / Energy sector, related to Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil. I am also well acquainted with the logistics requirements for various items.

I am very familiar with Saudi Aramco procedures & guidelines in my line of job & have strictly adhered to those guidelines throughout my tenure with them, moreover the market requirements and also of the resources/infrastructure available in the local and international markets. This also gives me a good understanding of the pricing levels prevailing in this market.

I have also been involved in the identification, selection, managing, promotion, and training of a team of Supervisors / Coordinators for the Materials, procurement, and subcontract function. I am also well versed in procurement procedures and systems.

    • Ensures the implementation of HSE procedures and all other HSE initiatives and programs are adhered to by the subcontractors. Oversees all matters relating to subcontractors’ commercial and contractual matters.
    • Identifies evaluates, prepares, negotiates and issues the agreement of subcontract scope of work changes.
    • Manages all subcontract formulation activities.
    • Obtains required approvals throughput in the subcontracting process.
