Vessel Operator

– Responsible for daily opera\0ons of dry-bulk vessels under my care and be able to maximise profits through managing the end- to-end opera\0ons of voyage and \0me-chartered vessels efficiently and effec\0tively.
– Process and ensure compliance with Charter Party (CP) requirements and company procedures as well as all relevant opera\0tional informati\0on between brokers, owners, charterers and agents.
– Assist and liaise with Chartering team concerning any vessel informa\0tion requirements and coordinate all opera\0ons involvement in post-fixture support.
– Proac\0tively plan and manage to op\0timise voyages in terms of route planning, weather rou\0ting, cargo stowage planning and appointment of port agents.
– Provide voyage and \0me charter instruc\0tions to Master and convey expectati\0ons for the voyage.
– Coordinate the release of bills of lading, switching of bills of lading and manage le\0tters of indemniti\0es (LOI).
– Analyse and evaluate all vessels voyage performance and highlight any underperformance or any other opera\0otinal issues including off-hire, stoppages, delays and down\0me.
– Tabulate lay\0me and sett\0lement of demurrage or despatch \0timely in accordance to the respec\0tive CP.
– Arranged hire payment \0timely in accordance to the CP and tabulate statement of account (SOA) and se\0ttlement of final hire statement (FHS) upon comple\0tion of every voyages.

Operations Executive

• Responsible for the handling of end-to-end dry-bulk operations in voyage and time charter fixtures for handy and supramax vessels.
• Keep Owners and Charterers advised of requirements pertaining to voyage or time charter fixtures such as voyage instructions, stowage plan, LOI request and on/off hire survey etc.
• Provide professional shipping advice to principals, protecting their interests and aiming to obtain a win-win situation under difficult circumstances with minimal compromising terms.
• Consult and advise in-house brokers in anticipation of any potential operational issues.
• Mitigate and mediate any conflicts between Owners and Charterers.
• Liaise with both Owners and Charterers on all post-fixture operations.

Operations Executive

• Responsible for daily operations of the fleet and managing end-to-end operations for container services running from Asia – India/Middle East.
• Liaise with agents on a daily basis with regards to operation issues such as vessel’s schedule, port’s productivity and stowage planning etc.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders such as traders and stowage planner to maximise the profitability and reliability of every vessel in the respective liner service.
• Handle operational emergency situations related to vessels, cargo on board, crew and maintenance issues and provide counter measures to minimise schedule disruption.
• In-depth study and evaluating of vessel’s operating costs to enhance the cost efficiency for on-going services.
• Liaising closely with partners within the consortium to improve service structure and costs optimisation.
• Involve in new service deployment by running optimal studies from operational point of view.

Operations Executive

• Responsible for handling port formalities such as port clearances, documentation and other agency operations for vessel upon appointed by clients.
• Handle matters pertaining to immigration and repatriation for crew.
• Liaise closely with various counterparties such as bunker suppliers and ship chandlers to ensure all husbandary matters are settled timely.
• Liaise and keep clients updated timely on all shipping matters related to the vessel.
• Daily, regular communication and establishing good rapport with ship’s captain and crew onboard.
