Manager and responsible for all Contractual, On and Offshore Operations, Business Development and Sales & Marketing. Spent a considerable amount of time in Dalian shipyard as project manager converting a Jack-Up for Chevron to operate in winterized conditions. January 1996, transferred to Bangkok office as Country Manager - Field Service Manager, for all ongoing operations in Thailand, Laos, Bangladesh, Brunei, Vietnam & Cambodia. Manager for all operations, and liaise with all clients on a daily basis, received and presented all tenders, accountable for Operations, QHSE, P&L, Revenue, Business Development, End of Well Reports, Employees Training, Audits, Sales & Marketing, Material & Chemical Supply Planning, Inventory & Logistics. Services provided:- Onshore & Offshore Drilling, Cementing, Drilling Fluids, Coil Tubing, Nitrogen, Stimulation, Fracing & Directional Drilling. Member of Clients (Shell & Thaipo) Operations Safety Committee (Numerous Offshore Audits & Recommendations). Awarded the first Coil Tubing Drilling Contract in the Far East for Shell Thailand. Instigated & awarded contracts for Field Enhancement & Recovery, installing Desk Engineers in Clients offices. (Water Influx & Migration). Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers & International Association of Drilling Contractors, therefore, organizing all conferences, presentations, promotions and exhibitions. Transferred to Luanda, Angola, (at the request of Total, as they required “One Engineer” performing all Schlumberger Dowell Services) started the campaign by installing a bulk plant and shore facilities prior to arrival of Rig in Luanda port, and completed a five well campaign for Total Oil Company. At the request of the President & CEO was transferred to work in Aberdeen head office and offshore North Sea on contract to Total Oil Marine on the \"Dunbar\" platform. Started the campaign by building for Total Oil Marine my own invention “The Lynx 52 Running System” in which was used continuously with great success. Carried out numerous services, as “Mentor” and “Senior Engineer” training Schlumberger Dowell Female Trainee Engineers. (Cementing, Nitrogen, Coil Tubing, DHT’s, Drilling Fluids, Drilling Engineering & Practices). Was called on several occasions to perform “High Profile” jobs for various other Oil Companies, in the capacity as Senior Engineer. Represented the company at Aberdeen Oil Show Exhibition. Based out of Ho Chi Minh City on contract to Total & Fina Oil Company of Belgium, on the Jack-up, \"Trident 17\". Started the contract off in Singapore, and supervised all equipment and spares taken on board, and conducted pre-maintenance check on all equipment. Sailed with the rig to Vietnam and made sure all equipment operational. Several times requested back during days off to supervise jobs conducted on board. After completing two well exploration contract, at the request of Fina Oil Company, I sailed back with the rig to demobilise and hand over the equipment to Dowell Schlumberger - Singapore. Semi Sub “Hakura III” called back during days off to supervise the highest density cement job to be performed offshore Vietnam, due to high pressure well and critical conditions. At the request of Fina Oil Company I spent a considerable amount of time based in Perth, Western Australia as Front Line Manager coordinating between Fina and Schlumberger Australia; for the Exploration Projects offshore Karratha and Rottnest Island. Schlumberger Oilfield Services; Based in Aberdeen. Cementing, tools, etc., worked on platforms, semi-submersibles and jack-up rigs throughout the North Sea Sector. Fully conversant with all Dowell, BJ, Halliburton, Skid mounted cement units and all Schlumberger, Baker, Halliburton & BJ Down Hole Tools. Installations covered: as Cementer and Toolman, BP \"Magnus\", Texaco \"Tartan\", Tricentrol \"Ocean Liberator\", Kerr McGee, Premier \"Ocean Liberator\", Amoco \"North West Hutton\", Shell \"North Cormorant\" and Shell \"Dunlin\". Installations as Toolman, Conoco \"TLP Hutton\", Philips \"Hewit Bravo\" (Tree – Savers / Isolation Tools), Philips \"Labrador I\", Spain (Gijon) Bay of Biscay: Conoco \"Ocean Liberator\". Was asked by Amoco to join them as a full time employee in the capacity of Offshore Drilling Representative, but declined. Organized shore based facilities, clearance of equipment and chemicals, ordering bulk cement from Valencia, organized and managed operation in Spain. Exploration well for Conoco, so carried full inventory of DHT, Chemicals and spares due to locality and distance from Aberdeen base. Completed drilling program and transferred to Egypt. Based in Cairo, covered the Western Desert area on contract to Shell Egypt and maintained and supervised all activities for the company on the two drilling and one work-over rig. Due to the locality I conducted all equipment movement and laying of lines and positioning of tanks for receiving water and cement. Played a large part in the drilling and operation of the water wells. As the only expatriate, representing the company in the Western Desert, with a number of local Trainee Engineers, a major part of my job was pre-planning, safety, maintenance, material ordering, moral and budgeting, apart from my duties as Senior Service Engineer I also ran all the Liner Hangers in the area. I was the only person allowed to drive and operate the company\'s only C500 Kenworth Heavy Duty Truck, due to the cost and unavailability of replacement. Asked to be transferred after two years in Western Desert. Transferred to Bombay, India. Carried out my duties as Service Engineer on contract to O.N.G.C. (Oil and Natural Gas Commission, Government of India). Offshore Bombay and Porbander on the Jack-Up Rigs Uxmal and Bonito I and Bonito II.

Operations Manager for ITAG Drilling Middle East, travelled extensively visiting Clients and Operational Rigs Worldwide. Instrumental in establishing a working “Alliance” with Weatherford Group of Companies, and built a new joint operation base for the Companies. Attended all IADC (Middle East), SPE (Qatar) Conferences. Organized all promotions, presentations, conferences and exhibitions.

Partners on all aspects of business affairs & attended all meetings with J.V. Partners and Clients as representative of “ARIC”. Established fabrication yard for J.V. Partner; “Parker Drilling Company”, in “Al Rushaid Oilfield Centre” complete with personnel camp in order to assemble four 1,500 H.P. & two 2,000 H.P. Land Rigs. The most advanced Cyber controlled Rigs in the Region. Attended all meetings with Client (Saudi Aramco) as JV Partner, and mobilized the first two Rigs to drill for Saudi Aramco. Established “Saudi Oilwell” a company to provide logistic support for the expanding Oil & Gas Industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Liaised with architects and construction companies to build new office & workshop complexes for “ARPD” & “Saudi Oilwell”.
