Job Description
Duties:
- Organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the functions of the Technical Department, making sure suitable measures are established to manage recognized risks.
- Keeping a thorough understanding of the Management System.
- Guaranteeing the efficient and uniform application of the Management System.
- Assisting in the creation of new protocols and the modification of current ones.
- Encouraging and backing ongoing enhancement efforts.
- Overseeing and confirming that the Management System is effectively applied on board ships.
- Enhancing and endorsing a robust safety culture, along with environmental and energy consciousness within the division.
- Making certain that vessels under comprehensive management function safely, efficiently, and economically;
- Engaging in the hiring and interviewing process for new Technical Superintendents alongside Executive Management.
Requirements:
- At least three (3) years of experience in the organization as a Technical Superintendent or in a leadership role.
- High level of expertise in English communication, in writing and in speech.
- Exhibited leadership, organization, and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate successfully within a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the marine sector, including applicable Rules and Regulations.
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to the ships in the fleet.
