Job Description
THE JOB
- Strategize and formulate business development and marketing plans to identify new and/or target market and business opportunities to propose business solutions to ensure sustainable growth and development of the LNG business
- Integrate and align business activities with the London office
- Lead and drive the execution of LNG business development strategies and marketing plans to secure new businesses and/or expand market share
- Develop commercial strategy and approach for deal origination, business proposals and bud submission that meet client’s requirements highlighting the company’s value proposition
- Enhance visibility and footprint of company’s LNG business and in Atlantic Basin with key LNG players
- Lead the evaluation and negotiation with charterers, strategic partners and technical consultants in relation to new building term charters, agreements or investment opportunities to determine the economic viability as well as operational and technical compatibility with LNG Business
- Strategize and drive customer relationship management activities to ensure existing customers are retained and new customers are continually secured for sustainable business growth
- Provide specific guidance and motivation to drive the development of a ready pool of capable and competent business development professionals
THE PERSON
- Bachelors Degree in Business/Economics/Marketing/Engineering
- Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or any related professional qualification is an added advantage
- Minimum 18 years of working experience with at least 6 years of experience in managerial or equivalent position in LNG or Maritime Logistics industry preferably in business development or marketing exposure
